Anabel Balkenhol is a German Grand Prix dressage rider with a career spanning more than three decades at the highest levels of the sport. Daughter of Olympic champion and legendary trainer Klaus Balkenhol, she rode her first Grand Prix at just 22 years old and has competed on the world stage ever since, including a team bronze medal at the 2010 World Equestrian Games in Kentucky and individual participation at the 2012 London Olympic Games.
Currently based in Germany, Anabel continues to compete internationally with her Hanoverian gelding High Five FRH, most recently claiming victory at the Stuttgart German Masters Grand Prix and the CDI3* in Hagen in 2025. Known for her technical refinement and deep classical roots, she brings a lifetime of elite experience to every ride.
